"I’m Italian from Northern NJ/NYC. Extremely hard to replicate that style. If it had just a LITTLE more basil in the sauce I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. They also use “Grande” brand cheese which is the EXACT same you’ll find across NYC (Al Capone Mafia cheese from back in the day). Real Zeppole taste like St. Rocco/St. Anthony feasts."
