"Buena Fe is hidden gem in Oak Park about a mile from Woodward and the crowds in Ferndale. Locals know this is the place for pupusas and other El Salvadoran fare and some Tex-mex standards. Food is always consistently great. Try the Yuca Fritas(like big tasty French fries) and pork rinds but not the kind most American will think of. They’re literally big hunks of fried pork. Delicious. Their slaw and hot sauce is also great. Try topping your pupusas with them both."
