Nelson's Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey Hand Made Sour Mash Whiskey is a 21st century resurrection of a remarkable family recipe from 1860; this original Tennessee Whiskey continues to set the standard by which all others are judged. Meticulously created, this wheated mash bill whiskey is painstakingly non-chill filtered through a mellowing bed of sugar maple charcoal before being aged in charred oak barrels for two to five years, but it's well worth the wait. Each 91 proof whiskey bottle opens with full and warm aromas of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and apple, and offers a palate of robust brown sugar, cinnamon roll, caramel apple, and a touch of cocoa. This American whiskey's long finish features lingering notes of cinnamon, brown sugar, Gala apples, and black cherry.
