  • Uber One is a program that gives you access to benefits on orders and intermediated rides for €4.99 per month.
    With Uber One, you benefit from a €0 delivery fee and up to 50% discount on the service fee for qualifying Uber Eats orders (minimum order of 12€ for restaurants and over 25€ for grocery orders) from participating partners marked with the Uber One icon.
    In addition, you receive 5% of the fare of economy reserve trips and 10% of the fare in premium reserve trips in Uber One credits credited to your Uber account after each ride. Uber One credits can be used in the Uber Eats and Rides app.

  • You can purchase Uber One directly in the app.
    1. Tap on the profile icon.
    2. Tap on „Uber One“ and follow the prompts to sign up.
    Uber One renews automatically. However, you can cancel and manage your subscription at any time in the app.
    NOTE: You must have the latest version of the Uber or Uber Eats app to purchase. Please let us know if you have any problems.
  • How to cancel Uber One in the app:
    Tap on the profile icon.
    Tap on „Uber One“.
    Scroll down and tap on „Manage subscription”.
    Select „Terminate contract here” and fill out the cancelation form.
    Click Terminate now” to cancel your subscription.
    After canceling Uber One, you’ll have access to your benefits until the end of the current billing period.
    If you have a question about Uber One please go to the „Help” section in the app on your mobile device to reach us via chat.
    You can cancel Uber One at any time in the app or on the website up to 48 hours before the start of the next billing period and thus before the next scheduled payment.

  • What is Uber One for Students?
    With Uber One for Students, eligible students can access benefits such as savings on Uber and Uber Eats for 2,99 € a month or 29,99 € annually.
    Uber One members receive the following benefits for rides and from merchants and stores marked with the gold Uber One icon beneath their name:
    0€ delivery fee on eligible orders (minimum order value of 12€ for restaurant deliveries; 25€ for grocery deliveries)
    Up to 50% discount on service fee for eligible orders
    5% Uber One credits on eligible Uber rides (10% for Premium and Comfort rides), credited to your account
    Access to special benefits and other exclusive perks
    Taxes and fees, if applicable, don’t apply to order minimums. Membership savings are applied as reduced Service Fees. Other fees and exclusions may apply.
    You must be 18 years or older to be eligible for Uber One for Students.

    Purchasing Uber One for Students
    Eligible users can purchase Uber One for Students membership in the Uber app:
    Select Account in the lower-right corner
    Select Uber One and then Continue
    Select Student and follow the prompts to enroll
    Keep in mind:
    You won’t be charged until you verify your student status and any free trial ends.
    Subscriptions renew automatically. The subscription fee is non-refundable once charged to you, but you can cancel and manage your membership at any time in the app.
    You must have the latest version of the app to purchase.
    Accepted payment methods
    You can use a debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal to purchase or renew Uber One for Students. To register or use any of the mentioned payment methods:
    Go to the main menu of your account and select Uber One
    Go to Manage Membership
    In the payment details, select Change
    Any Uber Cash can be used towards the recurring student subscription. On the Manage membership page, you can update payment details to turn on Uber Cash.
    Verifying student eligibility
    To qualify for Uber One for Students, you’ll need to provide the following information:
    First name
    Last name
    Birthday (must be 18 years or older)
    School email address
    Organization (university)
    Once your information is verified, your membership will begin immediately. If we’re unable to verify you, we’ll request more information.
    By signing up, you acknowledge and agree that Uber will use your information to confirm your eligibility for Uber One for Students through a trusted partner and according to Uber’s Privacy Notice.
    Who verifies eligibility?
    We’ve partnered with SheerID to verify your eligibility for Uber One for Students.
    SheerID is an identity verification platform that specializes in identity attribute verification. We’ll share your first name and last name, birthday, school email address, and organization with SheerID. If SheerID can’t automatically confirm your student status, they may ask you to share additional information, including documents such as transcripts, college class schedules, or tuition receipts to support your application.
    SheerID will only use your information to verify your eligibility for Uber One for Students as instructed by Uber and will never rent or sell your information. SheerID doesn’t store documents or images uploaded to their system. Uber will also retain your day and month of birth and university name to send you personalized communications, subject to your communications preferences.

    Information SheerID keeps
    To help the annual renewal of Uber One for Students, SheerID will keep your information for up to 2 years, except for any documents you were asked to upload, which will be deleted within 24 hours. That way, you won’t have to re-enter your information every year to confirm you’re still eligible for Uber One for Students.
    If you don’t want SheerID to keep your information, you can request its deletion.
*Benefits available only for eligible stores marked with the Uber One icon. Valid in Germany only. 4.99€/month after the end of your free trial month. 12€ minimum on most stores. 10% Uber One credits earned on Premium and Comfort trips and 5% Uber One credits earned after completion of eligible rides on other rides products, valid for 36 months. Taxes and similar fees, as applicable, do not apply towards order minimums or Uber Cash benefits. Price includes VAT.
