      The exceptional Dry finish has been achieved through a special brewing process, removing sugars over an extended period of time, creating a remarkably smooth, crisp, dry finish with lower carbohydrates than other full strength beers.
    • 4 Pines Brewing Pale Ale Bottle 6x330mL
      American style pale ale with a bright ruby appearance. Hop-driven aromas of citrus, pine and grapefruit overlay a mouthfeel of rounded malty flavours, setting up for a tight and bitter finish. A lack of decent post-surf beers on Sydney’s northern beaches was the impetus to start a brewpub in Manly. 10 years later and 4 Pines is a craft beer juggernaut. Their Kolsch, Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Stout, American Amber Ale, In Season IPA and Indian Summer Ale have all conquered Australian thirsts. 4 Pines’ Head Brewer, Chris Willcock, believes their success comes down to great ingredients, craftsmanship, and loving what they do. They especially love brewing the In Season IPA as they always use the freshest in season hops that make the brewery smell like heaven. We have word that we can look forward to some great new single batch beers from 4 Pines in the near future.

      The definition of ‘balter’ is to dance artlessly without particular skill or grace, but usually with enjoyment. There’s something unintentionally joyous about it, which is why it makes a great name for this brewery. Balter Brewing Company was founded in 2016 by surfing champs Joel Parkinson, Mick Fanning, Bede Durbidge and Josh Kerr (plus a few more mates), on the sunny shores of Currumbin, Gold Coast. Our panel of XPA judges can certainly vouch for the waves of deliciousness in Balter XPA, which to date has more than 20 awards to its short name. They remarked on its enticing tropical fruit aroma and flavour, balanced by slight bitterness and smooth, clean, refreshing finish. Brewed for those who enjoy a fully-hopped beer that’s still easy to drink, this might be extra pale, but there’s nothing weak about it. Take a sip, and your taste buds will appreciate the combination.
